If you are looking for an affordable and casual pub to spend a peaceful weekend evening, you should visit Birdcage Pub.

When I entered the pub, I was amazed by its casual yet elegant look. The pub is designed incredibly, with bright lights, great interior, furniture, etc.

The food and beverages are also pretty incredible. In addition to the beer, you can order vegan or vegetarian food options if you want to.

Special menu: Beer, Expresso Martini, pies, bloody Mary, fish and chips, vegan burger, Pork roast, cider, etc.

    Opening hours:
    Monday to Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    Thursday to Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Address: 73 Columbia Rd, London E2 7RG, United Kingdom

It is another affordable, fancy-looking pub in London. Royal Oak has the perfect ambience to visit alone or with your partner near the Columbia Road flower market.

What I like about this place is its plenty of seating areas, from which you can choose where to sit based on your preference. Also, this place has a great lighting arrangement.

The food and beverages I ordered were very affordable, but that doesn’t mean the quality or quantity of the food was poor. There was enough for one person to have a drink.

Special menu: Beer, Cider, Roast Pork, Sunday roast beef, Guinness stout, etc.

    Opening hours:
    Sunday and Monday, 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
    Tuesday to Thursday, 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    Friday and Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Address: 397-400 Geffrye St, London E2 8HZ, United Kingdom

This pub is a bit far from Columbia Road. It doesn’t look like any ordinary pub; it has a sophisticated and elegant vibe.

The seating area and the lighting are all beautifully placed and designed. Also, this Pub has huge Windows, so it has plenty of space for natural lighting.

The food served was presented incredibly well, and the quality was excellent. The quantity of the food was more than enough for one person. I enjoyed the snacks and the meal at the brewhouse and kitchen bar.

Special menu: beer, gin, roast beef, bacon butty, calamari, hamburger, chicken Sunday roast, rum, etc.

    Opening hours:
    Monday to Thursday, 12:00 p.m. to 11 p.m.
    Friday 12:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Even though Mikkeller is a Cocktail bar, it sources great-quality, crafted beer you won’t find anywhere else. So, if you are craving beer, you should visit this bar.

The Mikkeller isn’t huge from the inside, but it has a cosy ambience, perfect for tasting and enjoying your drinks. So this is a place you must visit with your friends and partner.

Special menu: crafted beer, beer Greek breakfast, margarita pizza, Texan VBQ, cold brew, champagne, etc.

Address: 49 Hackney Rd, London E2 7NX, United Kingdom

Finding a variety of beer at this location is difficult, but as a Cocktail bar, it serves various Cocktails. This Cocktail bar is an Alice in Wonderland-inspired destination where you will have a fun experience with a party, DJ, and dance.

The Looking Glass Cocktail Club is very affordable, and the danger of Cocktail options you’ll get is incredible. Also, the bar is pretty big, so it’s a nice destination for groups of 3-4 people.

Special Menu: Negroni, margarita, espresso Martini, Long Island iced tea, sex on the beach, beer, etc.

    Opening hours:
    Tuesday to Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
